Our mission is James 1:27 "Religion that God, our Father, accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

 

In our ministry we:

Support adoptive families, waiting families, and those considering adoption through resources, mentoring, education, prayer, small groups, and relationships.

Promote and raise awareness within our church about adoption and orphan needs domestically and internationally through media and Annual Orphan Sunday.

Provide financial assistance and grants to families who desire to adopt but lack funds to complete the process.

Engage in outreach projects to support orphans both locally and around the world through mission trips to orphanages and projects locally for foster children.
  • Placement of 100 children through adoption or foster care through CVVC.

  • Coordination of Annual Orphan Sunday each November.
  • Continuation of monthly small group support meetings for adoptive/waiting families.
  • Establishment and management of CVVC Foster Care Closet to supply foster families and children with much-needed new clothing and care items.
  • Training for families with challenging adopted and foster children.
  • Maintenance of partnership with Life Song for Orphans to provide financial assistance/grants for adoptive families.
